Experience an unforgettable 3-day adventure connecting the High Atlas peaks to the golden dunes of the Sahara. This journey takes you to discover the treasures of Southern Morocco: from the mythical Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou to the spectacular Dades and Todra gorges, crossing the Valley of Roses. The highlight of your experience will be a total immersion in the Merzouga desert, with a sunset camel ride and a magical night in a bivouac under the stars.
Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Dades Gorges Departure at 8:00 AM. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m). Visit the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage) and the Ouarzazate film studios. Continue through the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in the Dades Gorges.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Morning departure for a walk through the impressive Todra Gorges. Continue towards the Merzouga desert. Enjoy a camel ride (approx. 2 hours) at sunset to reach the desert camp. Traditional dinner, Berber music, and overnight stay in a nomad tent under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech Early wake-up to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Breakfast and shower at the camp (or guest house). Return journey to Marrakech crossing the Anti-Atlas and High Atlas mountains. Arrival in Marrakech is scheduled for the evening (around 7:00 PM).
Transport: Air-conditioned vehicle with an experienced English-speaking driver/guide.
Accommodation (2 Nights):
1 Night in a Hotel/Riad (Dades Gorges).
1 Night in a Nomad Bivouac (Merzouga).
