The Ouzoud Waterfalls (meaning “mills’ falls” in Berber) stand approximately 100 meters high, cascading over three levels along the Oued Ouzoud at an altitude of 1,060 meters in the Middle Atlas. This vast site is a must-see for Moroccan tourism, located 150 km northeast of Marrakech.
Accessible via a 3-hour drive from Marrakech, these are the tallest waterfalls in North Africa. Looking like something straight out of a postcard, they are absolutely not to be missed. Our day trip includes a visit to these breathtaking falls, where a near-permanent rainbow crowns their impressive height. Upon arrival, we will embark on a beautiful two-hour hike to reach the base of the falls. You will have the opportunity to swim and enjoy the refreshing mist of these magnificent waters. We will then savor a traditional tagine at a local restaurant while admiring the surrounding nature. Before reaching the falls, we will cross the stunning High Atlas Mountains, with a stop to admire a natural bridge sculpted by time.
