This exceptional 4-day, 3-night tour connects Marrakech to Fes, traversing Morocco’s most iconic landscapes. You will cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, explore lush valleys and Berber villages, and visit UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
The highlight of the journey is an immersion in the Sahara Desert, featuring a night in a nomadic tent amidst the Erg Chebbi dunes, following a sunset camel ride. The trip concludes with a drive through the Middle Atlas, passing cedar forests inhabited by wild monkeys, before arriving in the Imperial City of Fes.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Morning: Departure at 9:00 AM towards the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2270 m).
Visits: Visit the Telouet Kasbah (former residence of the Pasha Glaoui) and cross the Ounila Valley. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-listed site.
Evening: Overnight in Ouarzazate or near Ait Ben Haddou with a Berber family.
Travel time: Approx. 4 hours.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges
Morning: Visit Ouarzazate city and the Taourirt Kasbah.
Journey: Drive along the “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs” to the Skoura Oasis to visit the Amridil Kasbah. Continue towards the Valley of Roses (Kella M’Gouna).
Evening: The day ends at the Dades Gorges, a deep canyon with red and mauve rocks, where you will spend the night.
Travel time: Approx. 3h30.
Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi
Morning: Visit another oasis and the Todra Gorges, where the cliffs rise up to 300 meters.
Afternoon: Drive towards the Sahara Desert in Merzouga.
Main Activity: Camel ride (or walk) towards the Erg Chebbi dunes to admire the sunset.
Evening: Night in a nomad tent at a desert camp.
Travel time: Approx. 3h30.
Day 4: Merzouga – Fes
Morning: Sunrise from the dunes, shower, and breakfast.
Journey: Drive through Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, and Midelt.
Stops: Lunch en route and a photo stop in the Azrou cedar forest to see the wild monkeys.
Arrival: We will drive you to your Riad or Hotel in Fes.
